How to Hand out Your Business Cards

Published by admin at 2:41 am under Stock Trading

When someone asks you for your business card, do you simply hand them one card like most people do? There is a better way to do it that can actually bring you more business without taking up anymore of your time. All you have to do is ask if the person minds taking a few extra in case they hear of someone else who needs the type of service you offer. By doing this, you have instantly multiplied your potential for new business by asking one simple question.

You should also take care to always be prepared to hand out your business cards. Keep them in a pocket so that you will not end up fumbling through your wallet or full pockets in search of the card. A smooth and effortless presentation is very impressive while watching someone struggle to produce his/her card is not. Be sure to always present your card with professionalism. Hold the card firmly in one corner and use your thumb and index finger to grip it as you extend it to the receiver.

It is also a good idea to keep your cards in a great looking card holder. This shows people that your card is something of value and gives off an air of professionalism. Never toss your cards to someone or pull them out of a cluttered drawer or pocket.
